(Specialization or Major can be chosen in any Natural Healing Discipline)

Prerequisites
A Bachelor (90 credit minimum required beyond a Bachelor) or Master Degree (60 credit minimum required beyond a Master) from this University or from an approved educational institution.

The Doctor of Philosophy program will require the student to complete as many credit hours as are needed depending on the student’s incoming credit and resulting advanced placement. In addition to the curriculum, the student will also be required to write and defend a dissertation of a minimum of 25,000 words. The dissertation committee will be composed of three faculty members or may also include pre-approved doctoral members from outside the University who may be specialists in their field. The Dean will work with the doctoral candidate in the selection of this committee. The dissertation may be defended at one of our University sites and in some situations via phone conferencing to be approved by the committee chairperson. Upon successful defense of the dissertation and approval of the final draft the student will be conferred the Doctor of Philosophy in their chosen field of Natural Health. (Clinical research may be substituted for the dissertation but must also be defended before the PhD committee.)
