Dr. Bolanos graduated as an M.D. in 1977 and as an orthopedic surgeon in 1983, both in Costa Rica. In 1988 he became a specialist in acupuncture in Taiwan, and then, a Naturopathic Doctor in 1995 through Westbrook University in the United States. He also received a Ph.D. in Nutrition from Westbrook in 1996. Since then he has been studying Iridology, Electroacupuncture, Biological medicine, Homotoxicology, Neural Therapy and Meridian Training.
