Deborah O'Brien, RN., BSN.

State University of New York, American Holistic Nurses Association, Deborah has practiced the art and science of Nursing for the past twenty years. Her work has taken her into a variety of settings - from the fast paced, highly technical environment of the Intensive Care Unit, the dynamic classrooms provided by willing patients on the medical-surgical units of a community hospital, the campus of a Community College, to becoming involved in the community itself. In 1993, Deborah assisted in co-creating the "Center for Feminine Wisdom" in Santa Cruz, California, a place where women of all ages and from varied walks of life would gather to nourish themselves on all levels. Currently she is the Nurse Manager for the Santa Fe, New Mexico Public School District and serves as a part time faculty member with the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing. She also has her own healing practice where she uses the gifts of Intuition, Color Healing Therapy, Reike, Ritual, and Energetics to facilitate an individuals personal transformation.
