Helen Stewart, Ph.D.

Harvard University, Boston University, Brandeis University, Drew University. Dr. Stewart is Founding President of the University for Metaphysical Studies. Prior to founding this new institution she was Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Rider University. Dr. Stewart spent nine years as an academic-administrator in the California State University System (CSU), first as Associate Dean, and then Dean for Faculty Affairs at San Francisco State University and Sonoma State University, respectively. Before moving to California she taught full-time at Brandeis University and Wellesley College, and part-time at Boston University, Harvard University Extension, and Emerson College. Dr. Stewart has worked privately as a traditional management consultant and as a metaphysical management consultant; as staff for several research and development firms: as a professional arbitrator and mediator; as a sociologist for the United Nations Development Program; and as a simultaneous escort-interpreter in French on contract for the U.S. Department of State.
