Professional training program (500 hours) in a four phases leads to Certification as a Burnham Systems Facial RejuvenationSM (BSFR) practitioner. Dr. Burnham has certified professionals since 1984. This training aids deep inner work while simultaneously offering the skills for a commercially viable profession through a profound transformational healing modality. Skilled hands-on sculpting of the face, neck and shoulders combined with the ageless healing arts of head reflexology and nerve rejuvenation, awakens your beauty and renews the inner self for clients and practitioners alike. While redefining facial features through a carefully developed system of patterned strokes and energetic touch sequences, twelve major nerve centers on the head are activated, and "reflexively", activate centers throughout the whole body. This work's most important concepts - presence, loving intentionality, cellular communication and trust - allow your understanding of energy to deepen to a new level of expertise: how energy works, how to move it, and how to create the space for transformational change: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This process not only changes people’s faces, it changes people’s lives, including the lives of those who do the work. Phase I and II: 4-day Intensive This 32-hour class is open to all: professional body and energy workers, practitioners of body/mind medicine, estheticians, novice healers or caring friends and is the pre-requisite for professional certification Phase III & IV. Phase I and II are taught nation-wide by BSFR Certified Instructors. Phase I: Training in the Basics is the hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of the Burnham Systems Facial Rejuvenation - The Rejuv Touch. Basic strokes, location and uses of the twelve major facial nerve centers, and a foundation in energetic healing principles are taught as a complete rejuvenation process. Phase II: Training in Minor Miracles deepens your trust in yourself and in the process. The Basics are expanded and refined. New strokes and sequences are added offering more skilled precision to the work on all areas of the face, neck and shoulders. Focus shifts to creating rejuvenating and regenerating energy flows throughout the entire body. The potency of the Rejuv work becomes transformational. Phase I is the pre-requisite. Phase III and IV: Certification and Internship NM 530P - 17.5 credit hours Phase III: Certification Intensive is a 22-day training is where the deepest inner work combines with the graceful mastery of the entire Rejuv process. Syllabus highlights include extensive and expanded Rejuv techniques, holistic study of skin, liver and colon as organs of detoxification, energetic healing principles, whole body herbal healing aids and successful business building modules. NM 630P - 21.5 credit hours Phase IV: Internship and Graduation following a 10-12 month internship (15 credit hours) students return for an 8-day refinement, evaluation and graduation process (6.5 credit hours). This is where confident students grow in trust of themselves and their skills and become Certified Practitioners. NM 430P, 530P, 630P: 42 credit hours BURNHAM SYSTEMS BODYWISE THERAPEUTICS BodyWise Therapeutics is a powerful tool for health-care professionals and novice healers. This Burnham Systems teaches simple, effective, touch sequences and health protocols that bring individual organ systems into balance (physically and energetically) assisting the whole body / whole being into greater health and vitality. Each course blends a vast amount of scientific information (physiology and anatomy, herbs and nutrition) with a wholistic (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) understanding of the functions of each organ system and its integrated inter-depended functions within the whole body. The gentle and powerful BodyWise is rooted in reflexology and the touch sequences can release specific discomfort and/or body-wide distress. The BodyWise health protocols combine commonsense alternative herbal and nutritional information with original formulas to address chronic and acute conditions and to maintain general well-being. The Digestive System Series This 6-day Intensive focuses on the whole digestive system - from mouth, through stomach to intestines with the cooperation of the liver. Although each 2-day class can be taken independently, the Intensive provides a broad range of tools and a breadth of understanding to deal with the delicate balance between these organs of digestion, assimilation and elimination. The experience of BodyWise Therapeutics is nurturing and effective for both giver and receiver. You can use StomachWiseSM, ColonWiseSM, and LiverWiseSM therapeutic protocols and touch sequences to assist the smooth processing of our food assuring maximum nutritional uptake by the body. These sequences are effective as first-aid for acute conditions as well as providing guidelines and techniques to strengthen and heal the digestive distress from chronic conditions and health maintenance. All are aides in the cleansing and detoxification process. These simple but profound techniques can be used as self-help and to support family and friends. Health-care professionals both incorporate the work into their on-going body-work practice and use the full protocols as independent sessions. Although each class can be taken independently, the Intensive provides a broad range tools and a breadth of understanding to deal with the intimate connection of head, sinus and lung distress. You can use the SinusWiseSM and LungWiseSM therapeutic protocols and touch sequences to rebalance and heal acute and chronic conditions, to break up congestion, to aid drainage and to encourage healing throughout the whole body during incidences of:
* Colds SinusWiseSM. teaches a hands-on reflexology protocol of key points on the face and head. Successful drainage from the head can move toxins out of the body. Allowing the healing energies to flow to the causes of the congestion, that can actually be body-wide. LungWiseSM continues where SinusWiseSM. leaves off, using key reflex points on the chest, back, shoulders and feet. These sequences dilate capillaries (body-wide) easing stress on all the organs of elimination, free the lungs of congestion aiding the free flow of breath, thus oxygen, to the cellular level.
