RAD 505 Radiological Analysis
This course focuses primarily on skeletal
radiology, beginning with normal anatomy and
normal variants as depicted on radiographic
examinations of the skeletal system, continuing with
the radiographic mensuration process, and ending
with radiographic interpretation of traumatic
lesions, radiographic pattern of neoplasms,
infections, vascular and metabolic disease in
skeletal structures, and clinical correlations with
physical and laboratory findings. In addition,
principles of chest radiology and radiology of the
abdomen will be studied briefly, to facilitate the
recognition and interpretation of major
abnormalities and togain knowledge of the various
specialized imaging techniques available today. 3
